Youtube's Secret Video Game

Hate waiting for those YouTube videos to load? With this hidden game, those waits won't be so painful.

YouTube is a great video sharing website, but depending on your internet connection and your desired resolution, it can sometimes take a while for your video to load. In that meantime you can play Snake while your video loads.

How to Play:
When a YouTube video is loading, press the up key, and it turns the revolving balls into a snake game. You have to click in the video window first to have focus to that area.

Windows 8 for Tablets

Windows 8 (codename Windows vNext) is the next version of Microsoft Windows, a family of operating systems produced by Microsoft for use on personal computers, including home and business desktops, laptops, netbooks, tablet PCs, servers, and media center PCs.

Microsoft unveiled Windows 8 for tablets at Microsoft Build Developers Conference 2011 held at Anaheim California. The conference was four days event (13th September - 16th September).

New Features in Windows 8 :
  • Metro-Style UI : Windows 8 has a Metro-style user interface, optimised for touchscreens as well as mice and keyboards. Instead of Start Menu, a Start Screen is shown when triggered by Start button or Windows key.
  • Picture Password : Microsoft introduced a new authentication method. This feature allows users to sketch in three different places over the picture to login.
  • Ribbon Interface in Windows Explorer : The ribbon interface, previously available in Microsoft Office applications, will now become part of the Windows Explorer.

  • New UI in File Operations :  Windows Explorer will feature a new user interface for copying and moving files, offering both a simplified interface and an advanced interface for users to monitor the speed of the operations. Users now view all simultaneous file operations in one consolidated window, and can pause file operations in progress.
  • Windows To Go : Windows To Go is an upcoming Windows 8 feature that will allow users to create a bootable USB Flash drive (Live USB) with Windows 8 in it, including the user's programs, settings, and files.
  • Native USB 3.0 Support : USB 3.0 has transmission speeds of up to 5 Gbit/s, which is 10 times faster than USB2.0 (480 Mbit/s). USB 3.0 significantly reduces the time required for data transmission, reduces power consumption, and is backwards compatible with USB 2.0. With USB 3.0 support, Windows 8 will be quite fast when interacting with USB products.
  • Support for ARM CPUs : Windows 8 is the first windows to be capable of running on an ARM CPU based device.

Hardware Requirements :
Processor : 1 Ghz x86-64 processor
Memory : 1 GB RAM (2GB for x64bit OS)
Graphics Card : DirectX 9 graphics processor with WDDM 1.0
Storage : 20 GB free disk space
Display : A multi-touch screen is also required to take advantage of touch input.
Resolution : For Metro applications, a screen resolution of 1024x768 is required.
